Found out yesterday that I’d mistakenly bought (and eaten, as Freya had) bread which has egg in it. 1% egg to be more precise.
Not a significant amount, granted, but it was still annoying to realise I’d been stupid enough to be remiss in checking the ingredients. Still, you have to wonder (with so many other breads that vegan) why it contained any egg at all. I mean, it didn’t make any noticeable difference to the texture or quality (compared to other bread); in fact, many other loaves made by the same company are a lot more expensive better. So I’m perplexed.
Time to put pen to paper.
