We are currently without our broadband connection, having to wait 4 weeks while our Internet-provider transfers our account to our new address. In the short space of time we have been using a modem for our Internet requirements, I have come to a simple, yet well-known, conclusion: Modems suck.

Whereas we would be connected most of the day with broadband, I have hardly been surfing these last two weeks. Everything I need to do, including this blog, I do at work.

I tried to listen to my football team last Saturday, which I normally do every weekend. There was so much lag (when I wasn’t being disconnected, that is), that I stopped listening after the first half.

I wonder how long it will be before modems are made obselete in Sweden. The sooner the better.
